There’s Something Wild In There is the result of a chance encounter on a cross-country train.  Seated together in the dining car one evening, artist Barbara Saint Denis and budding writer Samantha Stewart and her father began talking about the book Samantha was reading. Upon hearing that Samantha had also been writing a book with some of her homeschooled friends, Barbara mentioned that her late husband Don had completed the illustrations for a children’s book but left no words to accompany his drawings. From this conversation a partnership was born, and There’s Something Wild In There is its handiwork.
